So sad, my first P-Funk shows were in the early/mid 90s and Amp was the main keyboardist in that era and was absolutely phenomenal at those shows. His solo music was fantastic also, RIP to a very gifted player.

This is a tough one. I went up to him back about 1994. I was singing the chorus to Blackout. He did not know me from Adam and his eyes lit way up. He was excited I knew his stuff and talked to me like he had known me his whole life. Over the next 2-3 years I’d holla at him whenever PF was in town.
This cat was a genius. I’m talking Bernie Worrellesque.
