Not available on Tidal uk version of Afro Strut so I would never have stumbled on it but for Danny’s book.

Cracking tune. Garry Shider on geetar. :metal:

The version I have been listening to for years - the us version - on Tidal uk is VERY different from the one on Danny’s book.

There are at least a few other missing tracks incl Dope and I think the title track. I will compare…

Y’all ever get hip to Dames Brown, a girl group Amp was producing? For a treat go on you tube and type in that name + Never Buy Texas From A Cowboy.

That’s fantastic. Thank you for that. What a great cover.

Wow. They keep that groove going for fifteen and half minutes. Loved that bit when Dames went into Steppin’ Out.

Fella on the saxophone was boss. :metal::purple_heart::saxophone:

Larry F on percussion. Rocking it.

Dope is a hidden bonus track on the cd. Which just arrived and is being duly shared with the neighbours.

The mystery is solved. This was initially released on Wall of Sound - a uk label that was big over here in the mid nineties and early 2000s.

The uk release is the one referenced in Danny’s book and has the different tracks from the US version - and If I don’t is no longer a Corinne Bailey duet.

The colour art is orange and brown, instead of pink and red.

The track Empower has Bubz on bass.
