I’ve heard from a friend that is well connected to various members of the band that they are hiring a new guitarist who’s apparently an 18 year old kid… word is they discovered him through instagram
Interesting! I wonder if they’re replacing someone or if it’s an additional player.
I feel like heading over to insta and searching for people around 18, that’s playing funkadelic covers and maybe is followed by somebody in 3GP…

Yeah, I think you’re right. It even says Third generation Parliament-Funkadelic on his page.

Kid’s really good… must be a lot of pressure to follow in the footsteps of Eddie Hazel at such a young age… reminds me of a young john frusciante
P-Funk got a track record getting young guitarist. Michael Hampton was 17-18 and Eddie Hazel around 18. Blackbyrd was around 24, so he was old.
