Does anyone know of an online store source for high definition audio downloads for p-funk stuff, e.g., 24bit/44.1kHz - 24bit/192kHz FLAC? Specifically looking for Hardcore Jollies! Guessing CDs will be best option for least compressed digital files.
I’d just go with cds. The majority of the time cds will cost you less, plus you have a physical copy in case something happens to the files. Plus P-Funk stuff is known for having wacky comic-esque stuff in the cover-art pamphlets. I have a bookshelf in my room but instead of having books in it, it has a bunch of P-Funk cds lined-up on display lol.
I use eBay, Discogs, and Amazon.
You can find most mainstream stuff for around $5.

There are definitely some P-Funk hi res files going around… A friend has a collection was just about to copy some for me (when I get some suitable storage!) I know has both Brides albums @192 plus ‘Mutiny on the mamaship’
