I attended George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic concert at the San Diego Sports Arena in January 1977. I distinctly remember Clinton reciting a very funny, rather raunchy limerick about an old man named Magoo who woke up with a handful of goo.
Nearly 50 years later, I still remember those lines! Does anyone recognize the rhyme, remember hearing Clinton perform it at other concerts, or know of a recording that might contain it?
