Saw this floating around and was wondering if there really was a Dr. Funkenstein comic.

That’s only a made up comic book cover from 2010. It was part of 13 songs that Chris Sims wished were comics, the ComicsAlliance Mixtape. You can see all of them here.

Talking about p-funk comic books, there’s a Funkadelic compilation that includes a comic (although in French).

Thanks for the info. Boy it would be great to have a p-funk comic book series! There are plenty of characters to support such a thing.

at first, as da silenboatman already says: its a creatiuve work from Chris Sims of the website, Comics Alliance He came up with the idea to mashup some old comic book covers with popular songs by PARLIAMENT/FUNKADELIC and last but not least David Bowie, The Flaming Lips, Beastie Boys and Public Enemy, just to name another few.https://comicsalliance.com/songs-comic-books/

anyway: there are some PFUNK comics outhere… like the legandary ‘DOG TALES’ from Howard Priestley… published via P-Views… btw: HELL YEAH!!! RIP GENIUS… \m/

Nice! Didn’t know about Dog Tales. I saw that Priestley has it on his site, but would be great with higher resolution images.

I also didn’t know that is was Priestley that made the cover to the Ruth Copeland cd reissue from 1997. I love that cover!
