I was wondering about the credits for this new album! I couldn’t find any online, even in discogs. I couldn’t find a lot of info about it in general really. Was it released as a CD or just digital download?

By the way, I love “Riddle Me This” (motherfucker!) and “I’m Gon Make U Sick O’Me” :smiley:

Just a digital release so far, but it’s supposed to come out on CD and vinyl as well. Soon apparently :slight_smile: . Hopefully we’ll get some more credits then.

There are some obvious thiings i noticed when listening to the album (like Fred Wesley on the opennig track), I’ll try to add what I fiind soon.

I obsessively followed George Clinton’s Periscope broadcasts from his studio recording this and discussing the tracks etc. His tweets are also a source of information. For example today he tweeted a happy birthday tweet to Fred Wesley, with a link to Type Two; that is confirmed Fred Wesley arranging and playing.

There was an interesting clip on YouTube of Fred Wesley recording parts at George Clinton’s Tallahassee studio. The saxophone player he had on that session was a student from a Florida university and an unidentified trumpet player. I found the name of the saxophone player at one point, but the video clip is no longer on YouTube. Those players are probably on Type Two, DaDa and other tracks that Fred Wesley arranged.

I just received the official hard copy of this on CD from Japan. Very nice and the credits for each track are included. I highly recommend you getting it.
