Have you seen this? Bootsy talking and showing all his gear. Morley Fuzz, Mu-Tron, Big Muff, Man in the box, Fender Jazz Bass and Precision Bass and a lot of other stuff. Don’t remember he had fur on his P Bass in the beginning.

Very cool video! Had no idea he got that sound by having different outputs for the different effects. I could listen to the guy read the phone book and be entertained.
Yeah very good watch. Bootsy is so larger-than-life that I sometimes take for granted how much leg work he did trying out new techniques that seem so janky with the gift of hindsight but were very innovative and adaptive (there’s a reason he’s been called the Hendrix of bass). It’s cool to see him talk through how he trail-blazed to remind me that he’s a real human being (supposedly 
) and not an alien from the Chocolate Milky Way.
