Zone of Funkativity reminds me of Basic Laws by Miroslav Vitous, but darker, slower and nastier with more bass and Moog sound and some distorted P-Funk vocalizations thrown in.

Never heard Miroslav Vitous before, but that again reminds me of the funkiest moments of the “Go”-Project by Stomu Yamashta, as well as of “Natural Knowledge” (from “Gigantic Days”) by Ian O’Brien.

Meanwhile Part 2 is available.
Contains 6 long running P-Funk Jams with titles like “Solar Charged Omni-Freak Lovebot” or “The Tale About Chrome-Dome Rick”. But my favourite is the last track “On The Fringe Again”, which is an outstanding P-Funk-Disco-track.
