1978 release dates - Quazar and All The Woo

Hey all,

Attempting to listen to things in chronological order by release date and am in 1978. Looking for thoughts on Quazar and All The Woo as their release dates are commonly noted just as 1978.

Assuming wikipedia is accurate…

Parlet’s Pleasure Principle is 2/24/78
then a long break
Brides’ Funk or Walk 9/1978 (I’m assuming before One Nation?)
Funkadelic - One Nation 9/22/78
Parliament - Motor Booty 11/20/78

On the Quazar page, it says it was between One Nation and Motor Booty. Then All The Woo’s item number is on the same label (Arista) as Quazar and has a higher number. I looked at other Arista releases with nearby label numbers and they were released in Sept/October.

So Quazar in between One Nation and Motor Booty and All the Woo after? Like in December? Wiki also says All The Woo charted in 1979 so a late 78 release would make sense.

What do you think?

‘Woo’ - I’m guessing - was likely 4th quarter of 78. Occasionally, “Much Thrust” was performed on the “Motor Booty Affair” tour which extended into 79. As far as exact dates, someone must know.

Regarding Quazar, I can reach out to Gregg Fitz and see if he knows. Fingers crossed…

The first two on your list are guestimates. The dates are pretty close to the probable release date. Funk Or Walk was definitely released after One Nation, not before.
